Jo Koy’s sitcom, “Josep,” is not moving forward at ABC

With every May comes all the announcements of what shows will or won’t be coming back. But in addition to that, there’s announcements of shows that never even made it to series before having the rug pulled out from under them. And now, we’ve learned the same fate has met Jo Koy.
The series, titled Josep, was to follow “a hard-working nurse trying to navigate dating, fatherhood, and the hilarious complications caused by his strong-willed Filipino mother moving in with him.”
Koy created and starred in the pilot, which ABC failed to pick up. Hopefully one day we’ll be able to at least see the pilot leaked online and see what could’ve been!
