After a month-long hiatus (maybe a record mid-season that didn’t have a writer’s strike?), Saturday Night Live is coming back next weekend. And they’ve just announced the next three hosts.
First up is John Krasinski with musical guest Machine Gun Kelly on January 30th. Krasinski was actually announced to host last season, but obviously the pandemic altered those plans. Following that is Dan Levy with musical guest Phoebe Bridgers on February 6th. And finally, Regina King is hosting the February 13th episode with music guest Nathaniel Rateliff.
And apparently, this is the first slate in what will he 5 consecutive episodes, which would be unheard of in a normal, non-pandemic season. However, we imagine it’s easier to maintain everything by keeping the show’s cast and staff in a contained bubble, than having people possibly travel during a hiatus. Regardless, we look forward to seeing how this all goes!
