John Krasinski gives “The Office” fans what they wanted on “Saturday Night Live”

When it was announced that John Krasinski would be hosting Saturday Night Live, there’s no denying that fans couldn’t wait to see if they’d do some sort of sketch with The Office. Years ago, Steve Carrell took part in a very funny one: The Japanese Office. So the question remained, Will John Krasinski do any sketches as Jim?
It didn’t take long. During his monologue, Krasinski started getting questions from “audience members” who share eerie resemblances with SNL cast members. And all these questions revolves around The Office, with Krasinski being mistaken for Jim. It ended with Krasinski kissing Pam, who in this case, was played by Pete Davidson.
Later on in the show, there was a sketch where the stars of different popular TV shows record their own theme songs. As expected, they ended the sketch with Krasinski making up words for the theme song of The Office. Note: He makes mention of Scranton at least once or twice…
