Back in December, it was announced that John Mulaney has entered rehab to be treated for alcohol and cocaine addiction. Since then Mulaney, who prior to this instance had been sober since going cold-Turkey at 23, has been noticeably silent.
Well, now he is returning to the stage once again for 5 new stand-up dates at the City Winery in New York. The show, titled John Mulaney: From Scratch, will take place from May 10th until the 14th. City Winery notes on their website that only fully vaccinated people will be permitted, and all cell phones must be locked away in YONDR pouches. The latter is not uncommon for a comedian trying out new material.
And while tickets are not surprisingly all sold out, we assume this is a sign that Mulaney has plans to do more shows in the future.
