Kurt Brauhnoler’s “Perfectly Stupid” premieres tonight on Moment

Starting tonight Kurt Braunohler will drop his new stand-up comedy special, Perfectly Stupid on the pay-per-view streaming service Moment. This release follows a newer model which comedians are starting to do in order to bring their specials directly to fans. While streaming DSPs are booming these days it does seem that there still is not enough opportunity for comedians. There’s a growing list of heavy hitters that have opted to go a different route and with the rise of Moment, it’s allowed those fans to financially support their favorite comedians without gatekeeper middlemen.

On Perfectly Stupid, Brauhnoler is knee deep in parenthood and all the trappings that come along with it. “It’s about how my own father gave me a very confusing blueprint for fatherhood, and how my mom, who raised me, passed away right before I could ask her all the questions. Which makes it sound heavy. But it’s not. There’s also some dick jokes.” said Brauhnoler of the special.

Perfectly Stupid premieres tonight (10/27) on Moment at 9pm ET followed by an afterparty Q&A with Kurt. It will live on Moment for the next 2 weeks, then it hit retailers starting November 16th.
