Kurt Metzger visits “The Bonfire” to defend Amy Schumer

Anyone familiar with comedian Kurt Metzger, knows he has no problem speaking his mind. He’s taken on UCB for not compensating comedians. Tackles race relations weekly on his thoroughly entertaining podcast Race Wars. Conversations which often spill over to his Facebook page on a daily basis. He’s a terrifically outspoken advocate for the comedy community. Metzger has also been a writer on Inside Amy Schumer since the show began and has a lot of insight on the recent accusations that have come across the show’s star, Amy Schumer.
Metzger was recently a guest on the SiriusXM show, The Bonfire and went on a rant about the situation with the show’s hosts, Dan Soder and Big Jay Oakerson. Metzger clarifies how the jokes in question came to be in the writer’s room, claiming that while they might be hack, but they definitely weren’t stolen. Metzger also stated how the other comedians (save for Wendy Liebman) didn’t have cases and weren’t on anyone’s radar until after recent events. He even went as far to state the which hunt is the agenda of other podcast hosts with axes to grind.
