Here’s something that’s definitely worth getting excited about. This morning, Kyle Kinane took to Twitter to announce his brand new comedy album, Trampoline in a Ditch.
“As if there’s not enough bad news already,” he wrote on Instagram, “I have a new record, Trampoline in a Ditch, arriving July 24. My only hope is that it doesn’t make this year any worse.”
This time around, he’s putting out the album with 800 Pound Gorilla. That isn’t entirely surprising given that as of last April he is no longer the voice of a Comedy Central, who put out his last three albums; Whiskey Icarus, “I Liked His Old Stuff Better”, and Loose in Chicago. In addition to the album, Meister even animated a short film featuring several hits from the album. 800 Pound Gorilla even released a statement.
“Imagine a world where animation is King and comedy is the undercurrent of life. Wrapped in this enigmatic beast is the voice of Kyle Kinane, directing the existence of the realm. Colors are tasteless and the sights flood your ears. It’s a reality that typically takes you directly to the capitol of the Twilight Zone but, instead, has birthed this Kinane/Meister driven masterpiece – a world of pure imagination. As the saying goes, ‘If you want to view paradise, simply ask Kyle and Meister to do it. Want to change the world? There’s nothing to it.'”
However he plans on putting the album out, more Kyle Kinane can only be a good thing.
Kyle Kinane: Trampoline in a Ditch comes out on Pandora on July 10th and all other platforms on July 24th.
