Ladies and gentlemen, the pitbull of comedy himself… Bobby Slayton
August 8, 2012 Matt Features, Interviews, Video
The pitbull of comedy himself, Bobby Slayton is a character. He’s also never at a loss for words as evident by this clip. We sat down with him for a 5 minute interview at Just For Laughs 2012.
At the beginning of the interview Bobby asked, “any other questions?” Not realizing at the time we didn’t even ask one yet and he was just riffing for the first part of the sit down. You could say it got away from us a bit. But one can also make the argument that if someone whose done comedy for over 30 years, it’s best to just listen to what they have to say and you’ll get some pure hilarity.
Slayton burns trough topics like his podcast with Jon Lovitz, working in a record store as a kid, inappropriate jokes, and being the longtime host of JFL’s “The Nasty Show,” which is where the no-holds-barred comedy is showcases. Slayton also tossed a few jabs at fellow comedians Andy Kindler and Adam Carolla, both of whom we interviewed earlier that day while in his presence.
Also, there are moments when the camera shakes, we apologize in advance because we couldn’t stop laughing at the man.
