The Laugh Button Live! Cheat Book Release | 10.17.2012 (Photos)

Last night was a doozy! We gathered with some of our favorite people in the comedy industry to celebrate the release of Cheat: A Man’s Guide to Infidelity a book written by Robert Kelly, Joe DeRosa, and Bill Burr. The book was a companion piece to the trio’s short film Cheat which they shot last year.

Two packed shows at NYC’s Comedy Cellar @ Village Underground were treated to Kelly and DeRosa playing host to an evening including book infomercials, a screening of the film, and live stand-up by contributors to the book – Rich Vos, Keith Robinson, and Colin Quinn. The night ended with panel Q&A moderated by LaughSpin.com’s Dylan Gadino and a book signing.

To say it was an amazing night would be an understatement. Both shows brought hysterical antics through the movie, Kelly and DeRosa kept the night fast and funny, intro’ing the movie, reading excerpts from the book and calling their friends out to perform live. Vos telling hilarious observations about New Jersey and talking about his married life. Keith Robinson literally held the stage hostage until Kelly got on stage to “light” him personally. To Colin Quinn doling out the insults as only a seasoned comedian could.

The culmination of the evening was when all 5 comedians hit the stage for a Q&A that became less Q&A and a bigger chance to hilariously crack each other up and interact with the audience.
