Laura’s Laughs: The Very First “First Fridays” Premieres This Friday, March 4th
March 1, 2011 Laura Mannino Features
Remember way, way, way back in January I asked you, dear Laugh Button readers, what do you want in a comedy show? Well, no one really answered, but I put together a show anyway. I’m a hosting a new monthly comedy variety show called First Fridays, as part of LA Comedy Festival’s Spotlight Series. Our first show premieres this Friday, March 4, 10:30 PM at Theatre Asylum. First Fridays is an intimate variety comedy talk show on that features four comedy acts, comedian interviews, and news, video and audience interaction segments. If audience and comedians are going to spend one hour in the same room, shouldn’t they get to know each other?
March 4’s show features Renee Gauthier, Ron Lynch, Mary Mack, Taylor Negron and a video by Mike Hollingsworth!
