The news came down today that FX Networks has dropped the axe on the animated show, Chozen starring Bobby Moynihan and Hannibal Buress, which wrapped its run in March and Jim Jefferies-starring comedy Legit which airs its finale tonight on FXX.
At this point it’s pretty safe to say that from an outsider perspective, FXX isn’t really working out like the network wanted it to. For the channel has yet to hold onto any of fledgling shows that made the move. Granted, the very well established shows The League and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia are still thriving but even those shows have taken a hit since the move.
Granted, the rollout of the new channel has been problematic for some FX viewers and those issues still do not seem to have been resolved. Perhaps the win here is figuring out how to get back the 26M viewers who were once able to watch these shows.
