Lewis Black rants about outdoor dining on “The Daily Show”
July 30, 2020 Andrew Buss Lewis Black, The Daily Show
Outdoor dining is the sort of thing that has always been there, but it wasn’t the sort of thing that was as always the most appealing. It had to be the right setting, the right temperature, and you just had to feel like it honestly. Well, temperature be damned, if you want to go out to eat in a lot of areas in the country, outdoor dining seems to be your only option. And someone who takes issue with it? Naturally, it’s Lewis Black.
Lewis returned to The Daily Show, where fans first became accustomed with his rants on pretty much everything, to talk about outdoor dining. In this bit, he talks about how eating outside is an “Olympic event”, not wanting to eat next to rats (who “talk too loud about their personal lives”), and why a potted plant barrier probably won’t do much. It’s always fun to see Lewis Black back on the show.
And still can’t get enough of his rants? Well, you’re in luck. Lewis Black actually has a podcast on our TLB podcast label titled Lewis Black’s Rantcast, which you can find here.
