The streets of everywhere are pretty deserted. Even Times Square is eerily a ghost town right now. Seems the perfect time to grab some production value you normally wouldn’t be able to grab without having millions of dollars to shut down Times Square for a film production, spin around in a circle, and promote your new stand-up special.
Mark Normand has been quickly becoming a rising star in the stand-up circle. It took years, but after some high profile gigs like opening for Jerry Seinfeld at The Beacon and 2 stand-up specials under his belt, he’s finally getting the recognition he deserves.
“In Mark’s third hour,” the description reads, “he covers it all: Drinking, anxiety, gays, naughty words, trans, race & the ladies. I don’t know if he’s right about any of it but he is completely out to lunch.
Mark Normand’s new special, Out To Lunch, seems to be taking the same straight-to-YouTube, independent model that Sam Morril took. And at a time when we’re all looking for the next thing while we’re still quarantined, it’s the perfect timing to have a new special out.
Out To Lunch premieres on May 12th on his YouTube channel.
