It’s been four years since we last got a new season of the Emmy Award winning, critical and fan favorite Netflix series Master of None. We were starting to suspect we might never see new episodes. But earlier this year, we learned the show was “secretly” in the middle of shooting season three in Europe. And now, it’s officially confirmed by Netflix the show will return next month.
This season, titled Master of None Presents: Moments in Love, features 5 episodes, all written by star Aziz Ansari and Lena Waithe, with Ansari serving as the director. It’s speculated the focus of these new episodes will mostly be about supporting character Denise, played by Waithe. Season 2 episode, “Thanksgiving,” won both Ansari and Waithe the Emmy award for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy. Adding to the Emmy Ansari also earned in the first season of the show which he wrote with co-creator Alan Yang.
While we don’t yet have a release date or any additional information, the good news is the wait is almost over!
