Michelle Buteau and Megan Mullally are joining the cast of a new film in the works at Hulu.
The film, which is currently untitled, is a coming-of-age film that “follows an aspiring young artist who is forced to join her high school track team. She uses it as an opportunity to pursue the girl she’s been harboring a longtime crush on. But she soon finds herself falling for an unexpected teammate and discovers what real love feels like.”
The film, which is produced by Maya Rudolph and Natasha Lyonne’s Animal Pictures, will also star Rowan Blanchard, Auli’i Cravalho, Tyler Alvarez, Aasif Mandvi, Teala Dunn, and Isabella Ferreira. Sammi Cohen Is on board to direct.
