The Something (working title), marks writer-producer Rodney Rothman’s directorial debut. As a writer, his credits include 22 Jump Street, Undeclared, as well as head writer for Late Show with David Letterman from 1998-2000. As a producer his resume boasts Get Him to the Greek, television series Committed, and the upcoming Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping starring The Lonely Island.
As for the release date of “The Something”, mark your calendars for May 26 2017 a.k.a. Memorial Day weekend. In the meantime, you can catch Rogen in Kung Fu Panda 3 out now and the upcoming features Zeroville, The Disaster Artist, Sausage Party, and Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising. Galifianakis currently stars in the new FX hit Baskets which has just been renewed for a second season. We also have Tulip Fever, Keeping Up with the Joneses, Masterminds, and The Lego Batman Movie on his upcoming schedule. Bill Hader, coming off his BB-8 voice consulting work on Star Wars: The Force Awakens, is busy with upcoming projects Empress of Serenity, The Angry Birds Movie, and The BFG. And finally, Rose Byrne can be seen in The Meddler and X-Men: Apocalypse.
