On December 13th and 14th, NBC is giving viewers a glimpse of two brand new sitcoms: American Auto and Grand Crew.
First up is American Auto, which is the latest workplace comedy the network has invested interest in, this time, taking a look at the auto industry. The series features Ana Gasteyer, Jon Barinholtz, Harriet Dyer, Humphrey Ker, Michael Benjamin Washington, Tye White and X Mayo. Additionally, it was created by the same team that brought us another workplace comedy, Superstore. So we do have high hopes for this one.
Grand Crew, which officially premieres the first week of January, is described as a “comedy about a group of young, Black L.A. professionals living their best lives and unpacking the ups and downs of life and love.” The series stars Nicole Byer, Justin Cunningham, Aaron Jennings, Echo Kellum, Grasie Mercedes and Carl Tart. Dan Goor executive produces the show alongside creator Phil Augusta Jackson.
