Here’s some more very well needed good news! This morning, Netflix announced via press release Jerry Seinfeld’s next stand-up special, titled 23 Hours to Kill.
“The special features a spectacular arrival to the Beacon Theatre in New York City,” Netflix said in the release, “and showcases Seinfeld’s sharp angles on everyday life, uncovering comedy in the commonplace.”
Back in 2017, he signed a deal with Netflix to debut two specials. His first one came out in September that year, Jerry Before Seinfeld, and showed Seinfeld going back and revisiting some of his early jokes and material. At the time, he stated that it would take him a few years before he would deliver a new one.
Jerry Seinfeld: 23 Hours to Kill, which was filmed during one of Seinfeld’s monthly residency shows at the Beacon Theater, premieres on May 2nd on Netflix.
