A few weeks ago, we saw the first trailer for Netflix’s new series Space Force starring Steve Carell. Very seldom does Netflix ever release two trailers ahead of a new series, but that’s exactly what they opted to do here.
And it honestly helps sell it even more. The second trailer definitely does succeed in providing more context, especially showcasing more of John Malkovich and Ben Schwartz. But beyond that, it also further reminds us all just how much we missed having Steve Carell helm a comedy series. There’s actually some moments in the trailer that feel like sort of an extension of Michael Scott. And that’s definitely something worth getting excited about.
Rounding out the cast in addition to Carell, Malkovich, and Schwartz is Jimmy O.Yang, Jane Lynch, Diana Silvers, Tawny Newsome, Lisa Kudrow, Noah Emmerich, and the late Fred Willard. Also re-teaming with Carell is The Office creator Greg Daniels.
Space Force launches on May 29th.
