Netflix to release extended cut of Chris Rock’s “Tambourine” special

December 23, 2020      Andrew Buss      Chris Rock, News

This is the first case we’ve heard of this happening, where the streaming platform has decided to release an extended cut of an existing special. Chris Rock shared the news on his Instagram that his 2018 Netflix special Tambourine, which was directed by Bo Burnham, will be getting a brand new extended edition.

“In this extended cut of his 2018 special, Chris Rock takes the stage for a special filled with searing observations on fatherhood, infidelity and politics.”

No word on when the new cut is coming out, but more Chris Rock is never a bad thing. So we’re looking forward to this. And we hope they eventually follow suit with some of their other properties.
