Some would say, “Inspiration can be found absolutely anywhere.” Well, that’s the case with the new CBS pilot Married With Roommates. The network just purchased the comedy from the Cougar Town team of Mike Lisbe and Nate Reger. As the story goes, the show was inspired by an article found in the New York Times earlier this year. According to Deadline, “Married With Roommates centers on a young, recently married couple in New York City who realize they can’t afford their own place and decide the best option is to start their life together in an apartment with three roommates.” Lisbe and Reger are set to pen the script. Lisbe’s other credits include Men at Work and Just Shoot Me!. As for Reger, his credits include $#*! My Dad Says and Spin City.
