Jason Woliner’s new t-shirt line isn’t going too well

November 27, 2012      Matt      News       Comments

Comedian Jason Woliner who is the fourth member of the sketch comedy group/TV show Human Giant (Aziz Ansari, Rob Hubel, and Paul Scheer launched a novelty t-shirt business last week and things are not going well for him. He began Je Shirt Company with the launch of a “Che Leno” shirt featuring the iconic Che Guevara image with Jay Leno’s image super-imposed on it and things just went downhill ever since.

The original image wasn’t easily identifiable went through a re-design. Things pretty much started terrible and through a series of Twitter meltdowns, mishaps, fake investors, and a car accident Woliner lost thousands of dollars from service fees and overrun orders. Woliner has posted a full message to all his followers and even put the wrecked car up for sale on his webstore with other “clever” designs to try to recoup his money.

The entire thing reads a bit like it’s some sorta hoax trying to be pulled on the public to get people talking about the shirts. So in the meantime, let’s keep checking in on Jason’s Twitter handle and see what kinda hijinks Woliner has next.
