Patrice O’Neal’s “Elephant In The Room” stand-up special gets a release date

February 2, 2011      Matt      Albums, Patrice O'Neal, Television

Mark your calendars…

Patrice O’Neal will have his first ever one-hour stand-up special air on Comedy Central on February 19th followed up by a DVD release of the special a few days later on February 22nd. In it, O’Neal will speak the unspoken truths about the value of white women, cheating, safe sex and the need for an official Harassment Day. This sounds about perfect.

You may know O’Neal from his appearances on the SiriusXM radio’s Opie and Anthony Show. He’s also made various other appearances on TV including stints on Shorties Watchin’ Shorties, Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn. He’s also appeared on Arrested Development, The Office, Z-Rock and even hosted a pre-Tosh.0 web clip show on VH1 called Web Junk 20.

The DVD release of Elephant in the Room will be available in stores a few days later on Tuesday, February 22nd, it will feature over 45 minutes of extended and uncensored content that wasn’t aired.

Just the other day we were watching this clip. Patrice was a guest on Live 105 and he just plain ol’ broke down what it’s like to be a white man into Radiohead. Were pretty sure he just profiles a couple co-workers to a T.

You can pre-order the DVD on Amazon, which is a great thing for those of you who like to laugh. Otherwise, you might not be into it.
