Patton Oswalt has a new hour coming out!
Like so much else this year, it will be socially distanced – or rather virtually distanced. Via On Location Live, Oswalt will be debuting his new hour with Keep Your Distance. The show (which, contrary to popular belief, is not titled Fatty Fatty Sad Sad), will feature an hour of all new material followed by a virtual hangout so you can ask Oswalt all your questions.
“I am sparing NO expense to bring you the best-looking, best-sounding at-home comedy experience,” Oswalt told Vulture, who broke the news. “I just checked this one corner of my living room for lighting and acoustics, and I plan to check another corner maybe next week.”
He continued: “I’ve traveled all over the planet bringing laughter and joy and healing but now I am walking ten yards into my guest room to yell at a computer screen while the world burns down outside. Experience the horror. Take my hand. We shall die together and become immortal. Also, there’s some dick jokes.”
The event takes place on Friday October 23rd at 9 P.M. ET. Tickets are $10 and can be found here. A portion of the proceeds go to the charity Alice’s Kids (which is consequently also the name of Oswalt’s daughter, but that’s merely coincidental).
