Patton Oswalt returned to his adopted home of San Francisco in 2015 to tape his triumphant, Emmy Award winning Netflix special Talking For Clapping and now you can enjoy the hilarity in the warm confines of vinyl via aspecialthing Records. From politics to parenting to pills, Oswalt brings surgical precision to the proceedings, balancing personal stories with the acidic pop analysis that has become his signature. aspecialthing Records will release the vinyl-only pressing of Oswalt’s sixth comedy special which includes digital download + two bonus tracks. The limited-edition blue splatter vinyl pre-sales with proceeds going to 826LA have sold out.
In addition to being a heralded stand-up, Patton Oswalt has received critical acclaim for his roles in the films Big Fan and Young Adult while his fans also recognize him for his many TV appearances including a starring role on The Heart, She Holler, series regular on Showtime’s United States of Tara, as well as Caprica, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Parks and Recreation, Justified, Two and a Half Men, Portlandia, Bored to Death, Flight of the Conchords, King of Queens and more.
Oswalt can currently be seen on Netflix’s show Lady Dynamite, starring fellow comedian Maria Bamford, and on HBO’s Emmy Award winning Veep. He also recently finished shooting the big screen adaptation of Dave Eggers’ novel The Circle, alongside Tom Hanks, Emma Watson, and John Boyega.
