Pete Davidson stopped by “Saturday Night Live” Weekend Update desk to address Kanye West’s controversial statements

October 8, 2018      Matt      Pete Davidson, Saturday Night Live       Comments

This weekend Pete Davidson stopped by the Weekend Update desk of Saturday Night Live to address Kanye West’s controversial remarks when he was the musical guest on the season 44 premiere of Saturday Night Live. Davidson was uneasy about the remarks and since he has a history of mental illness, decided that it was better to come from him as opposed to Update co-anchor, Michael Che. Davidson justified this by stating, “Che is black, but I’m crazy and we both know what side of Kanye’s at the wheel right now.”
