For the fourth year in a row The Laugh Button set up shop at NY Comic Con for the Superhero Fantasy Draft. We put together a panel of comedians and comic book fans and put them in a room and have them draft their favorite Superhero Teams in a fantasy football-style game. And what is the best part of Fantasy Football? Why it’s the smack-talking. The panel has to defend their choices, to comics, to themselves, and most importantly to the audience.
This year the panel was made up of Evan Williams, Jen Grunwald, and James Mattern. We also invited Greg Stone back to the game, he came in second place last year and returned for another shot of at the title. Our old pal, Mark Seman was in charge of the action has he hosted the evening. Steals were made, we saw a heel turn, and in the end one winner emerged with a belt (and later lost their shirt).
