Yesterday (or technically, at the beginning of today) The Pete Holmes Show launched on TBS following Conan. And while you hopefully had some time to familiarize yourself with late night’s newest talk show host, yesterday was the first opportunity you’ve gotten to see him in his new role. His first guest on the show (unless you count a short pre-taped bit with Jon Stewart) was Kumail Nanjiani. The longtime friend of Holmes reminisced about the good old days, and by “good old days,” Nanjiani means “Pete Holmes was racist.” And while Holmes said it wasn’t going to be a segment, Nanjiani suggested “Racist or Super-Racist” as an ongoing segment.
