In a sign that Hollywood really just doesn’t get the message, Mike “the Love Guru” Meyers has signed on to play the famous Warner Bros. animated skunk Pepe Le Pew in a live action-meets-animation movie.
Apparently after such breakout blockbuster hits featuring CGI animals being accompanied by live action people like Garfield, Kangaroo Jack, Underdog, Scooby Doo, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Marmaduke, Garfield 2, Cats and Dogs, Warner Bros. decided this just has to be a good idea. Especially considering the original cartoons were seven minutes and even then it felt strained at times I shudder to think what the actual “plot” of this movie will be.
As a service to you, I am going to summarize parts of this movie for you so if there’s an inkling in your mind to see it here’s what you can expect:
– Fart Joke
– French Joke
– A quickly-edited scene stringing together people using euphemisms for body parts
– “Smelly” French Joke
– Verne Troyer
– Joke about someone’s nationality
– Contrived PG romance/kidnapping/ adversity story to overcome
– Scene with cleverly placed props to mask nudity
– Fart Joke
– End Credits
There we go, that pretty much summarizes what this movie will probably be. Now go watch Wayne’s World and reminisce of time when Mike Meyers used to be in funny movies.
