Baseline Presentable
Erin Maguire is a New York City based stand-up comic, actor, writer, podcast host, and all-around good time gal. She might not yet be a household name to some but you’re more than familiar with her work, she’s written for The Comedy Central Roast of Alec Baldwin, a Seinfeld board game, and Netflix’s board game Spinmaster Games. Originally from Boston and she now calls NYC her home where she performs regularly in clubs about town telling comedy from a “ginger with basic bitch tendencies” perspective. Erin see the world through a warped Kaleidoscope and she wants to take you for the ride with word play and act outs. Baseline Presentable is Maguire’s debut comedy album which was recorded in Astoria’s Q.E.D space where she breaks down topics that range from heady (why New York will never die) to the absurd, (Aldi’s take on generic foods). When she’s not entertaining crowds, Erin is hosting a comedy advice podcast Dear Pod which takes a look back at the bygone era of write-in advice columns like “Dear Abby” and Ann Landers to see if their wisdom still holds up in modern culture. Erin has also performed at a variety of national comedy festivals including the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival which kicked off the grand opening of the National Comedy Center.
