Four savagely funny comedians who also happen to be comedians are hitting the road this fall as the Kreeps With Kids tour. Robert Kelly, Rich Vos, Ron Bennington, and Jim Florentine are all set to hit the road as a touring group telling jokes that are meant to remind us that just because you are a father doesn’t mean you lose your edge.
A while back Kelly started putting together one-off comedy nights at the Comedy Cellar in NYC that had this theme, edgy comedians who also happen to have kids. The show continued with many comedians taking the stage to share their parenting stories. The idea was successful and it’s now going on the road and Kelly is bringing along some heavy firepower with him in Vos, Bennington, and Florentine. After the quartet performs a special preview show at the Just For Laughs Festival at the end of July, they will launch a tour in mid-October that will put them in theaters through all of November heading up and down the East Coast and West to Chicago.
