David Fincher is in the mix on HBO Comedy Series “Living on Video”

December 24, 2014      Mark Says Hi!      News, Television

David FincherI love 80’s videos as much as the next guy, so why not a comedy series about the music video industry from that time period right? It might seem a bit outside the box for David Fincher at the moment, but rumor has it he’s in the mix and it’s not as far out for David as one might think. He is of course a music video director himself after all. Madonna, the Rolling Stones, Paula Abdul, Nine Inch Nails, Michael Jackson, Aerosmith, and Justin Timberlake are just a few he’s directed in said videos. An interesting direction to go after the success of this year’s Gone Girl. Tentatively titled Living on Video, the HBO series focuses on a wide-eyed college dropout who drives to Hollywood and lands a job as a PA for a company making music videos. There’s no doubt Fincher will find the funny with plenty of humor already abound in this classic decade of the music video.
