“Saturday Night Live” announces four new featured cast members

September 15, 2022      Andrew Buss      News, Saturday Night Live

There’s a lot of changes happening at Saturday Night Live. Seven cast members have exited the show, including Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, Pete Davidson, Kyle Mooney, Melissa Villaseñor, Aristotle Athari, and Alex Moffat. There’s definitely a sense of change on the horizon. But the question remained “Will there be new cast members this season?”.

Today, four new SNL featured players were announced. They include Marcello Hernandez, Molly Kearney, Michael Longfellow and Devon Walker.

“This will be transition year,” Michaels said at the Emmys on Monday after the show won Outstanding Variety Sketch Series. “Change years are always difficult but always exciting. There are new people. There are four new people, at least for now.”

So there you have it, the show still has yet to announce a host for the October 1st premiere, but we imagine we’ll hear more shortly.
