Rob Schnieder just released a song addressing the class of 2010. In it, he leaves some sagely advice to the graduation class of 2010. Mimicking the 1999 Baz Luhrmann song “Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen)” which came from the 1997 speech by Chicago Tribune writer Mary Schmich.
The thing is, upon first listening of the track, it makes us reminiscent of the Chris Rock version of this song/speech and it had a cooler title, “No Sex In The Champagne Room”. So we do what we always do in these situations. We took to the internet and got video clips of both of the songs and now, we ask the question…who did it better?
Rob Schneider “Graduation Speech”
Chris Rock “No Sex In The Champagne Room”
Our vote is going for Rock. Mainly because his version has a better beat, better video (n00dz!) and well, he was also timely with the release of his speech in the same decade as the the original he was spoofing. Victory party at the champagne room.
