A few months ago Ray Romano announced he’d be directing a new untitled dramedy that he co-wrote with Mark Stegemann. Now it’s revealed that his The Irishman co-star from Sebastian Maniscalco will star in the film alongside Laurie Metcalf.
In the film, “Leo (Romano) and Angela (Metcalf) Russo live a simple, blue-collar life in Queens, surrounded by the big personalities of their overbearing Italian-American family. When their lanky soft-spoken son ‘Sticks’ finds success on his high school basketball team and a chance at a life beyond what tradition expects, Leo tears the family apart trying to make it happen.”
No word on further cast, yet. But the talent involved definitely makes this something we’re looking forward to!
