All the excitement of Jimmy Fallon moving to The Tonight Show has finally clamed down, which left people asking, “Who will host Late Night next?” We can now bring you that answer, Seth Meyers. That’s right, it has been officially announced that Meyers will be succeeding Jimmy Fallon as the host of Late Night.
The New York Times caught up with the Meyers, “Each chapter of my life has sort of been spent enjoying each of the guys who had the job. Letterman was sort of my first introduction to late-night television. And Conan was all through college and post college years. Jimmy, obviously, I think, does it as well as anyone could ever do it.” Seth spoke on the past of Late Night. The Times was also able to catch SNL creator, Lorne Michaels for a word about Seth taking over, “I think he radiates intelligence. He has a background as a performer and a writer. And because I think he doesn’t like to copy anyone, I think he will find a way to make the show different and distinct and not a mirror of The Tonight Show.
And there you have it, Late Night With Seth Meyers. Be sure to tune in, its going to be great.
