A show remembering Mitch Hedberg is planned for August 18th

July 20, 2010      Ilya      Mitch Hedberg, News

Mitch Hedberg was taken from the world much too young. In his short career he achieved a status and style that is both coveted and respected by veteran comedians.

Well August 12th, Lynn Shawcroft the wife of the late comedian along with his parents will be hosting a tribute show dedicated to Mitch.

Held in the Paramount Theater in Andersen, Indiana, the show will include never before seen footage of Hedberg performing and behind the scenes, his TV pilot, and a showing of his nigh impossible to find movie Los Enchiladas! Fans will also have the opportunity to have a Q&A session with Shawcroft and Hedberg’s parents.

Even though it happened five years ago, the comedy world is still a little less funny without Mitch Hedberg populating it. For anyone who is a fan of Hedberg, or even stand up comedy in general, this is a can’t miss event.

Tickets are being sold through the Paramount Theater and available here.
