Satellite radio provider SiriusXM’s just announced that beloved radio show, The Opie & Anthony Show will be celebrating the show’s 20th year on the air with fellow comics and fans. The hosts that share the it’s namesake, Greg “Opie” Hughes and Anthony Cumia will will broadcast live from Carolines as part of a special edition of SiriusXM’s long-running interview series Unmasked hosted by Ron Bennington (of Ron & Fez). In addition, O&A will be joined by comedian Jim Norton, a long-running co-host of the show. The live episode promised fans to see the radio duo as they’re interviewed by Bennington as guest comedians drop by to be a part of the special broadcast. While there’s no confirmation as to what other comedians will stop by the program, the radio show has welcomed many of the biggest names in comedy into their studios over the years, so anything can happen.
Scott Greenstein, President and Chief Content Officer, SiriusXM spoke about the special O&A: Unmasked show, “We want to toast Opie & Anthony on reaching this milestone and in being one of the most outrageous and daring duos in all of talk radio. The special broadcast is set for Thursday, April 17th at 4pm in Carolines on Broadway comedy club. Fans can enter a raffle for the chance to win tickets to the event. If you are unable to snag a ticket, you can listen to the show on XM channel 103, Sirius channel 206, or Raw Dog SiriusXM Comedy Hits on channel 99. The show will also be on all of Sirius’s OnDemand platforms.
