Snoop Dogg samples “Curb Your Enthusiasam” theme in new song

February 11, 2022      Andrew Buss      News

Snoop Dogg is clearly a Larry David fan.

Today, the rapper dropped a new single from his new album, Bacc on Death Row. The title of his new album derives from the news that he actually bought Death Row Records yesterday. The new single, Crip Ya Enthusiasm, features Snoop Dogg sampling Luciano Michelini’s Frolic. However, the song is perhaps best identified today as the theme song for Curb Your Enthusiasm.

There’s something bizarrely fascinating about Snoop Dogg reappropriating the song for a new rap. And while we can’t see Larry David personally covering the song, we figure he has to get a pretty big kick out of it!
