Comedian and actor Steve Rannazzisi’s zone defense is on point in the world premiere of his new special Breaking Dad. Comedy Central will debut the one hour on September 19 at 11p. Filmed at The Wilbur Theatre in Boston, Rannazzisi’s second Comedy Central stand-up special details the playbook strategies of parenting his young sons, how to dodge pumpkin picking with the wife on NFL Sundays, and the ups and downs of coaching a little league team of mini-superheroes. Leading up to the special, fans can check out Rannazzisi in a short as coach of a lingerie football team who decides to change the way the game is played. Currently, Rannazzisi stars and writes on the critically acclaimed comedy series The League. Earlier this year, Rannazzisi wrapped up his national Strawberry Blonde Ambition comedy tour and he is currently the spokesman for the sports restaurant, Buffalo Wild Wings. In January of next year, Rannazzisi will be seen in the hit Fox comedy series, New Girl, portraying an old college frenemy of Nick (Jake Johnson) and Schmidt (Max Greenfield).
