T.J. Miller announces “The Meticulously Ridiculous Tour” and date for HBO Special

It’s a great time to be T.J. Miller right now. His Silicon Valley character, Erlich Bachman, has become that of legend. He has three projects in post-production, two in pre-production, and is currently filming another. And he has announced a new tour culminating in a taping for a new HBO special.

The Meticulously Ridiculous Tour kicks off in Boston Aug. 18th and runs through 20 cities in all for a total of 24 shows. Both Portland and Appleton stops have an early and late performance. The final show will be on Sept. 19th at the Paramount Theatre in his hometown of Denver, CO and will be filmed for HBO. Performer and mixed media artist Kate Miller will join her husband on the tour along with comedian Nick Vatterott.

Miller also revealed yesterday, on National Emoji Day, that he was cast in the new animated feature film Emojimovie: Express Yourself. Sony Animation was kind enough to share his audition with us and boy are we glad they did. Let’s take a look.
