Take a first look at ABC’s “The Muppets” premiering this fall

ABC has released a “presentation” short of what the new Muppets series will look like when it premieres this fall. The great news is that it looks awesome! The better news is that it’s totally hilarious as well! It’s meta, self aware, updated with a bit of documentary style (The Office) elements, guest stars, and some very great jokes that adults will love just as much as children while remaining still very much the characters we know and love. There’s even a Rowlf sighting, which we all know is the first, and best Muppet. Classic.

The series premieres Tuesdays on ABC this fall.
