Taran Killam joins CBS comedy pilot “Welcome to Georgia”

Taran Killam has a new show in the works.
It’s been announced that Killam has joined the cast of Welcome to Georgia, a new pilot for CBS. According to THR, the show follows “what happens when Penelope’s (Hannah Simone) career takes off at exactly the same time as her husband’s, they call on Penelope’s young single mom, Georgia, to help raise their son, but what they find is Georgia needs more raising than their kid.”
Killam will be playing the role of Josh, Penelope’s pilot husband, with Elizabeth Hurley playing his mother-in-law, Georgia. Pamela Fryman will be directing the pilot penned by Corinne Kingsbury, John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein.
