Near the end of 2013 Louis C.K. inked a deal with FX to develop new shows on the network that already acts as the home to his critically acclaimed TV show Louie. The deal was for C.K. to work to get projects off the ground whether they be his ideas or ideas of people he believed in.
About a month after this news C.K. is kicking this relationship off correct by bringing in another top name in comedy, Zach Galifianakis. FX has ordered a comedy pilot created by and will star Galifianakis and be co-written by C.K. As of right now there’s not much of a concept for the project, but the comedians will both serve as executive producers. This deal is currently the 12th greenlit pilot for FX Productions as it’s trying to ramp up the supply for programming for FX and now FXX.
