Michael Che’s social commentary sketch series is coming back for a second season.
In season one, That Damn Michael Che used “sketches and vignettes to illustrate what it feels like to experience various everyday situations including racial profiling, unemployment, falling in love and more, from Michael’s perspective.”
Sarah Aubrey, Head of Original Content for HBO Max, said in a statement: “Michael’s comedic style is truly unique and his ability to convey provocative subject matter through a comedic lens is the reason why season one of That Damn Michael Che was such a success. We look forward to working with him again on a second season.”
After a pretty successful first season, we can’t wait to see what Che has in store for the second time around. But no matter what it is, rest assured some Colin Jost bashing will most likely be present.
