The cast of “Wayne’s World” joined Josh Gad for “Reunited Apart”

December 7, 2020      Andrew Buss      Movies, News

No way!? Way!!

Earlier this year, Josh Gad started a YouTube series titled Reunited Apart, in which he reunites cast members from all of the movies that you grew up with and beyond. And now, it’s back for a second season and he kicked it off with the cast of Wayne’s World.

Kicking things off with Joe Perry and Steven Tyler, they brought Wayne and Garth themselves Mike Myers and Dana Carrey into the mix. (And yes, they did recreate the Wayne’s World theme). Also joining the reunion was director Penelope Spheeris, Tina Carrere, Rob Lowe, Laura Flynn Boyle, Alice Cooper, Hawk Koch, Dinah Minot, Barnaby Thompson, Ione Skye, Colleen Camp, Ed O’Neil, Lee Tergesen, Chuck Noland, Mike Haggerty, Brian May, and Roger Taylor. And acting as the quizmaster is Judd Apatow.

There’s definitely some fun stories here, including a story of Freddy Mercury getting to watch the film right before he passed. Also, Tia Carrere closing things out with Ballroom Blitz is a highlight for fans of the film. We can’t wait to see which film will be given the reunion treatment next!
