The final season of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” is set to premiere August 12th

May 20, 2021      Andrew Buss      Brooklyn Nine-Nine, News, Television

They’re going out in a blaze of glory.

It’s the end of the road for Jake Peralta and company. The final 10-episode season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine will take place over the course of five (non-consecutive) weeks starting August 12th.

In a newly released retrospective, we can spot a brief glimpse of Jake and Amy as new parents. In addition, “Jake and the squad must try to balance their personal lives and their professional lives over the course of a very difficult year.”

The eighth and final season did have four scripts ready to go last summer that were tossed out entirely. This was in the wake of the death of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter protests. So rest assured, that will be covered as well.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine returns August 12th at 8 PM ET.
