‘The Greatest Event In Television History’ happened last night

November 8, 2013      Bram Teitelman      News, Television

You can’t say we didn’t warn you. Last night the third installment of Adam Scott‘s The Greatest Event in Television History took place on Adult Swim. And like we’d surmised last week, the show was a spot-on recreation of the opening credits of Too Close For Comfort. Chelsea Peretti, Kathryn Hahn, Jon Glaser and Catherine O’Hara joined Scott in the opening, yet it’s the leadup to the credits that’s fun. Jason Mantzoukas drops by as the director, and Paul Scheer and Jon Hamm also pop up. But really, if you’re a child of the ’70s or ’80s, you’ve probably already fast forward to 15:45 to watch.
