In just a few short months, The Goddamn Comedy Jam has taken the nation by storm. The comedy/music show is a an live show that features comedians performing stand-up, then following it up fronting a band to sing a song of their choosing. Can comedians pull off the song? Well, half the fun is seeing if they can. It’s pure entertainment and joy. We first caught the show about a year ago in it’s home of Los Angeles, but after a few very successful appearances at festivals, the GDCJ and it’s creator, comedian Josh Adam Meyers are set to blow things up on a national level in 2016. Beginning with the announcement that the show will be a part of Bonnaroo. On this week’s episode of the podcast, Mark and Matt sat down with Meyers to discuss the show’s origins and how it became to be.
