We’re excited to announce the next album release by The Laugh Button records. On Friday, July 15th we’re going to drop comedian Dale McPeek’s debut album, My Mother’s Son. McPeek has steadily become a favorite of the Chicago comedy scene and it’s easy to see why: there’s nothing fake about him. When Dale hits the stage and starts rambling about his uniquely terrible life, audiences can’t look away, because with one look, it’s clear that he’s the real deal. My Mother’s Son was recorded at Chicago’s Lincoln Lodge in Fall 2021. McPeek took the opportunity to treat the sold out crowd with stories that reflect on his pandemic life, climate change, his faltering dating life, his jobs in the service industry, and his childhood movie memories. All with an easy and laid back delivery that makes you feel like you’re just shooting the sh*t with an old friend.
